I have been doing lots of research on the highest paid Vloggers and what people are most interested to watch.

The highest paid Vlogger of 2018 is Ryan ToysReview making $22 million and he is just seven years old! I read this article describing him; “The No. 1 earner on YouTube this year is not your average millionaire — far from it. He’s a 7-year-old boy named Ryan who reviews toys for other kids. Last year, it was reported Ryan made $11 million from his YouTube channel, coming in at number 8 on Forbes’ 2017 list, but the toy critic is moving on up. His YouTube channel has attracted a huge following of parents and children who watch Ryan test out new toys and share his thoughts on them.” I think that is a brilliant idea to rate toys and since it is coming from an actual child it is realistic and more helpful, so I can see why his channel is so popular. The channel reaches millions of kids and parents. However, I think a 7-year-old boy making $22 million is absurd and I hope his parents have a part in that.

The most viewed videos for a lot of vloggers ranges from many things. Most viewed for girls 12-20 in age is makeup tutorials, hair tutorials and clothes ratings. For guys, it is a lot of wild tricks with bikes, skateboards, fire, wild animals, etc. A lot of the vloggers I watch just update their followers on their life and do really normal things. So for my vlog I am going to vlog my daily life, do a makeup tutorial on my own routine, rate some brands because I am an avid online shopper and a bargain shopper. I am working on the vlogs currently! It has been really fun to do but definitely, the hardest part is not to feel awkward on camera which I do not do a great job of! Then, editing is very difficult, since I do not have my professional camera the phone videos are not as high quality. Vlogging has definitely brough out an even more social side of me and I like doing it, maybe I will continue it even after class!

Isn’t it insane how much Ryan has made and all from playing with toys? I think I saw a video once that showed that his parents are actually very responsible with the cash and are saving it for college and beyond. I always find it interesting to see how ideas blow up. Ryan probably started as a kid playing with a toy on youtube, and now he’s a millionaire for it!
